I jumped at the chance to purchase VIP tickets to Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin as I was dying to meet her in person. I had sent Jana a few Hampton Paper goodies for her daughter Jolie, and Jana had surprised me by sending an email saying, ” thank you,” and she had the products featured in People Magazine!
When I met them, I introduced myself as the owner of Hampton Paper Designs. They both were so gracious and personable. Mike even exclaimed, “Oh, we love that picture!”
Let me say this show did not disappoint! It was fun and refreshing and so nice to hear people being so open and honest about their relationship. I applaud both Jana and Mike for sharing their stories and starting a conversation. Jana performed a few of her songs, and it is always so cool to witness such talent in a small venue as well as hear first hand her inspiration.
Also, I learned a new millennial term called a “selfie line.” Unfortunately, this isn’t a very good picture of Jana, Kelly, and I as Kelly and I were slow to walk upfront since we weren’t’ familiar with the term. I won’t’ make that mistake again!
