In You are a Badass, author Jen Sincero recommends investing in yourself. Since all her advice so far has been spot on, I decided to give this a try.
Are you interested in my findings? Well, not only does it feel amazing to invest in myself, the more I do it, the more I want. I swear it is a total addiction. It has been like a domino effect. I find one thing and the it leads me to another and another. There are not enough hours in the day! Here are a few things I have found and love. If you have made investments in yourself too, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
If I were to create a hashtag it would be #ladiesIworship
Anna Goldstein, Life and Business Coach and Podcast Profit with Purpose
Do you remember in Jerry Maguire when Renee Zellweger’s character said, “You had me at hello.” ? Well, that’s the equivalent of my consultation meeting with Anna to find out about her coaching services. I hadn’t even hired her yet when I explained I get to a certain point and then get stuck. (have you ever felt that way?) Anna response, “That’s a limiting belief. You have gotten this far, so, you are not stuck.” I hired her on the spot. I felt like I got my money’s worth during that first conversation. Now, every time I feel stuck, I hear Anna’s voice in my head reminding me I am not.
If you want to better understand why I love her coaching services so much, tune into her podcast, Profit with Purpose on iTunes. I am obsessed. I swear her interviewing is on par w. Oprah. No joke. And, if you want a good one to start with try # 86 Abel Costa, The Depth of Communication. It explores the idea that your purpose is tied to your pain. This might be one of the most powerful ideas I have ever heard, because, I agree.

Sue B. Zimmerman, The Instagram Expert: READY, SET, GRAM
Ok, so outside of the incredible 101 crash course on how to use Instagram, think Instagram for Dummies, my son Thomas and I have gotten a million laughs as he thinks it is hilarious that someone needs a class on how to use Instagram. But all kidding aside, I have really enjoyed this class. The training is straightforward and Sue walks you through how to do everything on Instagram and is super responsive to direct questions. I took the 8 module class (Thomas also thinks the word module is outdated, is it?) I purchased her hashtag book. The tips and tricks are easy to understand and apply. I saw instant results.
